United Arab Emirates’ Aluminum Wire Rod Market Outlook Report
9,817€
- TRY: 475,000 ₺
Aluminum wire rod is generally produced using one of three processes: continuous casting and rolling, direct casting, and extrusion. The production process affects the dimensions, shape, quality, and purity of the wire rod. Most of the wire rod produced through extrusion is packed in bundles, but wire rod that is produced through casting is often packed as coils. Most of the wire rod coil produced in the United Arab Emirates is through continuous casting and rolling. The process involves the continuous casting of billets and then rolling it into wire rod with the desired thickness.
The production of aluminum wires and cables accounts for the main consumption of wire rod. Mechanical applications such as rivets, screws, fences, and meshes are also large consumers. Demand for aluminum wires and cables from electrical industries and related consumers is expected to be steady over the coming years.

UAE’s Winding Wire Market Outlook Report
9,817€
- TRY: 475,000 ₺
Winding wire is part of the copper products supply chain, in the wire and cable category. Winding wire (usually with an enamel coating) is used in automotive, electronic and electromechanical equipment, home appliances, and lighting. As one of the early steps in the supply chain of wires and cables with metal conductors, metal wire rod is drawn into wires in different diameters, which are then coated with different insulations based on applications. The quality of the conductor and the enamel used in the production of winding wire significantly affects the end product; production technology also affects the quality of winding wire. In older technologies, annealing followed drawing, but in more recent technologies, the two processes are carried out simultaneously, saving time and costs.

UAE’s Copper Wire Rod Market Outlook Report
9,817€
- TRY: 475,000 ₺
Copper wire rod includes products with diameters of 6mm or greater (known as rod) and smaller than 6mm (known as wire). It includes the following types (in all cross sections):
- Electrolytic cathode wire rod (ASTM B49 standard)
- Oxygen-free wire rod (ASTM B49 standard)
- Oxygen-free alloy wire rod (EN1977)
The first two types of wire rod have a minimum copper content of 99.99%. Alloy wire rod contains trace amounts (less than 0.1%) of silver with a total copper-silver content of 99.99%.
It should be noted that clean, high-grade scrap is used as part of the furnace feed in the production of copper wire rod, but this depends on production technology. Wire rod produced from scrap usually requires control and further processing to be converted into standard products for electrical applications. Thus, wire rod from scrap is partly used in non-electrical applications.

Oman’s Aluminum Scrap and Waste Market Outlook Report
9,817€
- TRY: 475,000 ₺
The low energy consumption required for recycling aluminum makes the process important. The energy required to recycle aluminum is about 4-5% of the energy that is needed to produce the light-weight metal from bauxite. Thus, recycling aluminum will result in 95% energy saving. Aluminum scrap and waste fall into two general categories: new and old scrap. New scrap is metal that is left over during the production of finished products or semis. Old scrap, on the other hand, is metal from end-of-life goods. Aluminum scrap can be used by producers with melting capacities.
