Development of geographical distribution of aluminum cans capacities, as well as growing demands have given rise to increasing global trade. Although aluminum price drops during 2015 and 2016, lowered the sale price of aluminum cans, but still trade of cans was dominant among those countries benefiting from preferential tariff. In the Middle East, trade of aluminum cans softened after ISIS’s rise. One of the most highlighted uses of aluminum cans is to produce alcoholic beverages, which are highly rejected by Islamic extremists.
