  • Iran’s Aluminum Sheet and Plate Market Outlook Report

    9,698
    • TRY: 365,000 ₺

A major portion of aluminum sheets and plates fall in the non-heat-treatable alloy category. Series 3xxx and 5xxx alloys take the largest market share. There are also series 1xxx alloy sheets and plates, mainly used in electrical applications. Aluminum sheets and plates are produced using cold and hot rolling, but there is only one hot-rolling plant in the country. There are fewer passes in the cold rolling process, which translates into less equipment required, lower capital intensity, and lower production costs.

  • Iran’s Aluminum Unwrought Market Outlook Report

    9,698
    • TRY: 365,000 ₺

Aluminum smelters (unwrought producers) fall into two categories: primary and secondary smelters. Molten aluminum cast as unwrought products can be produced either through alumina electrolysis in primary smelters or through remelting scrap and pure ingots in secondary smelters. Primary smelting is a cost-intensive process; thus, such plants are usually large-scale producers that can be economical with capacities above 100,000 tonnes. But remelting aluminum in secondary smelters requires much lower costs, making small-scale capacities economical.

  • Iran’s Aluminum Wire Rod Market Outlook Report

    9,698
    • TRY: 365,000 ₺

Aluminum wire rod is generally produced using one of three processes: continuous casting and rolling, direct casting, and extrusion. The production process affects the dimensions, shape, quality, and purity of the wire rod. Most of the wire rod produced through extrusion is packed in bundles, but wire rod that is produced through casting is often packed as coils. Most of the wire rod coil produced in Iran is through continuous casting and rolling. The process involves the continuous casting of billets and then rolling it into wire rod with the desired thickness.

  • Iran’s Copper Casting Parts Market Outlook Report

    9,698
    • TRY: 365,000 ₺

Casting parts are not generally categorized as finished products and are used in the fabrication of other products; based on composition, they fall into copper parts (non-alloy), brass parts, and alloy parts (excluding brass). Alloy and brass parts constitute the largest market share. Copper parts are used in industrial products such as parts for welding machines, steel casting molds, and artisanal handicrafts, while brass parts have wider applications including tools and equipment (locks and keys, zippers, door handles, rims and trims, bolts and nuts, etc.), faucets and valves for water and gas, home lighting and decorative products, auto parts, etc.

  • Iran’s Aluminum Casting Parts Market Outlook Report

    9,698
    • TRY: 365,000 ₺

Aluminum casting parts are part of the downstream supply chain of the aluminum industry; raw materials for the sector include both primary and secondary sources. One of the unique properties of aluminum in addition to the high specific strength and its high electrical and thermal conductivity, is the relatively low melting point that makes casting possible at low costs. Aluminum casting parts are produced using a variety of processes. Among these, pressure die casting and permanent mold casting are the most common. Sand casting also takes a considerable share of the market owing to low initial cost requirements.

  • Iran’s Copper PSSF Market Outlook Report

    9,698
    • TRY: 365,000 ₺

Flat copper products include plates, sheets, strips, and foil (PSSF). They are available as pure copper products as well as alloy products. Sheets, strips, and foils are available both in coils and pre-cut pieces. Alloy PSSF, especially brass products, have the widest range of applications; these are used in switches, sockets, electrical connectors, artisanal handicrafts, ammunition, and automobile radiators. Copper PSSF are also used in electrical connectors, printed circuit boards, HVAC, home appliances, artisanal handicrafts, and shipbuilding. Moreover, electrical applications, coin blanks, and telecom equipment are some of the most important applications of alloy PSSF such as copper-nickel, bronze-tin, and bronze-phosphorus.

  • Iran’s Copper Mine Market Outlook Report

    9,698
    • TRY: 365,000 ₺

Output from copper ore processing includes concentrates, SXEW cathode, or cement copper. Copper concentrate is produced in concentrators that use sulphide ore as feed. SXEW cathode is produced in hydrometallurgical plants using oxide ore as feed. Cement copper is produced in hydrometallurgical (cementation) plants that can use oxide ore or copper scrap as feed. Copper concentrate in Iran’s market has an average grade between 24% and 26%; yet some mines such as Ghale Zari with relatively higher gold and silver content produce copper concentrate with a grade of 15%. Cement copper in Iran, like global markets, does not have a significant share and the grades are between 69% and 71%. Finally, SXEW cathode is produced according to global standards with 99.99% grades, which is equivalent to the LME’s grade A cathode.

  • Saudi Arabia’s Aluminum Sheet and Plate Market Outlook Report

Aluminum sheets and plates in Saudi Arabia are mostly produced using hot rolling. Hot rolling can be economically justifiable only in large capacities. There is only one producer of aluminum sheets using hot rolling, with a capacity of 380,000 tonnes.

Packaging for chemicals and beverages, false ceilings, dampa ceilings and tiles, as well as composite panels are some of the main applications of aluminum sheets and plates. Thus, construction and packaging are the main consumers of these products in Saudi Arabia. Both industries are expected to grow over the coming years.
